Currently, Diop works within the healthcare data/technology industry. He is skilled in client support, process development, and project/program planning and execution. Diop is also a NASM-certified personal trainer and health coach through DIOP Institute, 2019.
Previously, Diop was employed in various roles/capacities within the healthcare administration field, specifically at Emory Healthcare and Emory University. At Emory, Diop served as a Program Coordinator for 10+ medical faculty at Emory University actively helping individuals develop client-tailored, sustainable health improvements. Prior to joining the Emory Network in 2017, Diop graduated from the University of Georgia, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion/Public Health in 2018. During his time at UGA, Diop participated in numerous internships and development programs within organizations such as the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, HIV Prevention Department; University of Georgia Department of Health Policy and Management; Compassionate Care Hospice; and Emory Healthcare.
Diop also co-founded the Georgia Society for Public Health Education at the University of Georgia where he engaged with fellow students in events/opportunities focused on health education, professional development, and community advocacy/service.
Diop is very passionate about making a difference in healthcare and promoting efforts to ultimately improve patient outcomes and healthcare affordability. Diop will leverage his background in Public Health to passionately serve the members of DIOP Institute and cultivate an environment of compassionate care.”
